why elope in orgeon
Whether you want a wedding day spent in the mountains or exploring hidden waterfalls, or a day wandering the coastline, Oregon has the perfect spot for you.
Oregon is home to some of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the United States, along with incredible beaches, waterfalls, and forests. All you need is an officiant and 2 witnesses, and it will be official!
Traveling to Orgeon

Oregon is a huge state, it takes roughly 8 hours to drive across the state, so you’ll want to be clear about the destination you are hoping for with your elopement.
The largest airport in Oregon is Portland International Airport (PDX), but depending on where you choose to elope, it may make more sense to look at flying into a smaller airport like Eugene Airport, Southwest Oregon Regional Airport, or Redmond Municipal Airport, depending on how far you’re willing to travel. The cheaper flights will likely be into PDX where you can easily pick up a rental car and drive to your elopement location!
Where to stay in Oregon

Where you are choosing to elope in Oregon, will dictate where to stay. Some of the best places to stay in Oregon are around Portland, Bend, Eugene, Medford, and maybe even Boise, ID if you are eloping in the high desert of Oregon. There are plenty of hotels, B&Bs, Inns, and short term rentals (Airbnbs/Vrbos) all over the country.
Also, look at renting a van or camper for your elopement! There are a ton of incredible campsites all over the state and vanlife gives you the freedom to explore all Oregon has to offer.
Where to elope in Orgeon

Oregon has such a variety of places to elope. Depending on the type of landscape you are going for will dictate where you want to elope in Oregon.
Some examples of where to elope in Oregon are Bridal Veil Falls, Guy W. Talbot State Park, Wahclella Falls, Rowena Crest, Cannon Beach, Ecola State Park, Columbia River Gorge, Crater Lake National Park, Washington Park, Cathedral Park, Smith Rock State Park, the Painted Hills, Alvord Desert, and countless locations in Mount Hood National Forest.

hear it from my couples

"On the day of our elopement, Kelsey delivered with her amazing energy. She’s not there to stiffly pose you, she’s there to document the real moments for you as a couple and while she’ll offer direction when you need it, she’ll awe you by catching all the beautiful, genuine, special, tearful, joyful moments you’ll remember forever."
"She provided us with guidance right from the get-go, answering questions about everything from hiking boots to hair and makeup crises to permits, and took our vague, half-formed suggestions (Acadia National Park, foliage, mountain and water views, can we take a boat ride??) and turned them into something both achievable and magical."
"I didn't realize how many ways that an elopement photographer could help you prior to the big day, but Kelsey absolutely has the bases covered! She will be your hype-girl throughout the whole process and will be there with tips, recommendations, and encouragement!"
