When I announced on social that I was going back to Europe, Heather immediately reached out. Her and her fiancé, Kevin, would be on their Paris honeymoon during the exact time that I was going to be there. If that’s not fate, then I don’t know what is.

First, they traveled to Greece to bask in the sun, but the next stop for them was Paris. They had a beautiful soft sun glow from Greece, which I haven’t seen on myself all summer. We met for sunrise, but only to find out there were loads of structures up blocking the view of the Eiffel Tower. I wish I was kidding, but I’m not. Bastille Day was only a few days away, so the celebration was being set up. Therefore, we needed to be creative and find other locations for some epic backgrounds.

It ended up working out because we found a secret spot that had absolutely beautiful views of the Eiffel Tower. After wandering around the area, we decided to go find a cafe. On the way, we found some cute parisian side streets to do some twirls and snuggles. After that, we arrived at a delicious coffee shop with some of the best cappuccino’s and chocolate croissants I’ve ever had.

There was a moment when we were walking away from the Eiffel Tower and I asked “what have you guys been doing? What would you do if I wasn’t here?”. They immediately looked at each other, and then the lime scooters and said, “we’d probably be riding those”. Naturally, we had to get some pictures of them scooting around.

What I found was so special was that I could tell that they were fun, energetic and happy all the time, not just because it was their honeymoon. Kevin and Heather are high school sweethearts, so their love and friendship is so beautiful to be around. They are so silly. The two of them are constantly laughing, smiling ear to ear and are just plain fun. It was the best morning and made me love doing honeymoon sessions even more.
