Jessica and Danny’s original plans to elope in Costa Rica had to shift with the recent pandemic going on. While who wouldn’t be bummed to not be celebrating this next journey in a tropic place like Costa Rica, they came up with another epic plan. They found a magical place in the woods to have the perfect treehouse elopement.
The Concord Audubon has a variety of locations to have an elopement or intimate wedding. They have this amazing treehouse in the middle of the woods, a beautiful field, and a garden in the back of their building. There are walking trails throughout in the woods, so you can get a variety of vibes for your day depending on what you are looking for.
Jessica and Danny got ready separately and didn’t see eachother until Jessica walked up the stairs to the treehouse. She looked like an outdoorsy adventure princess walking through the woods. The first time Danny saw her, it was precious. He had the biggest smile, which after getting to know Jess I could easily see why. She is such a natural beauty inside and out. You could tell Danny felt like the luckiest man ever.
Their ceremony was unique and personalized, something I really loved. They both have a mixture of personalities and interests, and they incorporated those in different ways. Such as Jess walking up to the Lord of the Rings song, or incorporating their interests or quirks into their vows. It was a special way of saying ‘screw the norm, we are going to make this 100% us’. And that it was.
After the ceremony, we wandered around the woods and took some fun portraits, followed by a delicious cake cutting and champagne popping. We then watched sunset and the insane colors mother nature created in the field. The night ended with sparklers with their friends. As you’ll see by the photos, Jess and Danny had some fun with it!
