why elope in the adirondacks
The Adirondack Mountains are home to some of the most beautiful trails and mountain summits in all of the east coast. It also has great food, good vibes, and kind humans.
There are also plenty fun activities to do in and outside of the park for your elopement day. Basically, your elopement in the Adirondacks will be nothing short of amazing.
Traveling to the Adirondack Mountains

There are three regional airports in the Adirondack Mountains: Adirondack Regional Airport, Ogdensburg International Airport, and the Plattsburgh International Airport. If that is pricy, look at flying into Burlington, VT or Albany, NY; both of which are about a 2 hour drive from the mountains.
Sometimes you can find flights for cheaper further away and the driving time can be worth it.
Where to stay in the Adirondacks

When looking for where to stay in the Adirondacks, you have to know that getting around the area actually takes some time! It could take hours to get from one side of the park to the other, so where you stay depends on where you plan to be most of your time there. Some of the best places to stay in the Adirondacks are Saranac Lake, around Lake Placid, and Burlington, VT if you're okay with a long drive.
There are plenty of hotels, B&Bs, Inns and short term rentals (airbnbs/vrbos) in each location.
Where to elope in the Adirondacks

There are so many incredible places to elope in the Adirondacks, as I've mentioned. Some are more popular areas than others, but it all depends on the type of scenery you want to be surrounded by.
Some examples of where to elope in the Adirondacks are Keene, Whiteface Mountain, Mount Joe, Lake George, and Lake Placid.
But I have some hidden gems up my sleeve for my couples!
