WHERE DO I EVEN BEGIN?! Catherine and Austin found me through one of my future wedding couples. And I love them, so I knew I would equally love Catherine and Austin. We clicked immediately and knew it was meant to be.
Fall was on its way and they wanted the ultimate Portsmouth New Hampshire engagement session. There are so many beautiful spots in that area, and I love to hop around to make sure they get the best of it all. We decided to start in New Castle at sunrise, at Great Island Commons. There are tons of rocky and beach areas, as well as trees.
I woke up at sunrise to find an eerie foggy morning. While that may upset some, I am obsessed with pictures in the fog. And with Halloween coming… I just had all these ideas flowing. When we arrived, Great Island Commons ended up being closed until 9am. UGH. That was such a bummer, but it ended up working out for the best. Since the Monday was a holiday, we decided to start in Portsmouth at Prescott Park and Four Tree Island. Then we would stop at Colby’s for breakfast, THEN end at Great Island Commons.
We played on the rocks and beach at Four Tree Island, snuggled on their moms homemade blanket at Prescott park, ate delicious pancakes at Colby’s with real maple syrup, then ended with a foggy lighthouse background at Great Island Commons. It was the perfect morning. Hanging out with the two of them made me so excited to ring in 2021 for the New Years Eve wedding this year!
