I received a call from a friend saying "please tell me you're around on Friday." Thankfully, I was. Her coworker's cousin, Joey, was planning to propose to his girlfriend, Ally, after she landed in Boston. He had a plan to pick her up and go for a walk around the North End once she got in around 6pm. Unfortunately, her flight kept getting delayed and didn't arrive until 1am. A perfect Boston North End proposal is what he was hoping for.

Joey was so unbelievably nervous and anxious and was determined to make it happen. He could not wait another day, and I stuck with him. So I headed into the North end at 12:30am to wait for their arrival.

They strolled down and once they got to the very last terrace, he got down on one knee. He was at a loss for words and so was she. It was a complete surprise and thankfully it was dark because I may or may not have shed a few tears.

We woke up early the next morning to take some engagement photos where Joey proposed just a few hours before. Then we walked to the Seaport for some city background views. We had a blast and it seriously felt like I knew the two of them for years. They are getting married this October and I cannot wait to capture their perfect Fall day!
