why elope in Massachusetts
Massachusetts is known for the beautiful city of Boston, but it's actually so much more than just that. If you are looking to elope in the outdoors, this state may surprise you!
There are also plenty fun activities to do around the state for elopement day. Basically, your elopement in the Massachusetts will be nothing short of amazing.
Traveling to Massachusetts

The best airport to fly into if you are hoping for a Massachusetts elopement will be Boston Logan. To get from Boston to the South Shore will take around 1-2 hours, to the North Shore about an hour, and to the Berkshires around 2 hours.
No matter where you end up going, just make sure you are remembering that there is SO much traffic in Massachusetts. Plan accordingly!

Where to stay in the Massachusetts
When looking for where to stay in Massachusetts, it will fully depend on the region you are looking for. I'd recommend choosing one area, and sticking to it since there is just so much to see and explore. Some of the best places to stay in Massachusetts is the North Shore (Marblehead, Beverly, Rockport, Newburyport), Cape Cod (Provincetown, Chatham, Martha's Vineyard), and the Berkshires (Great Barrington, Lee, Stockbridge).
There are plenty of hotels, B&Bs, Inns and short term rentals (airbnbs/vrbos) in each location.

There are so many incredible places to elope in Massachusetts, as I've mentioned. Some are more popular areas than others, but it all depends on the type of scenery you want to be surrounded by.
