After this couples session with Jess and Jesse, it made me realize that Massachusetts has a lot more to offer than just the city. Jess had an idea of taking in the sunrise at a marsh and woods area by their home. Instead of the original Cape Cod beach shoot, she envisioned getting her and Jesse captured with their pup in places they go to often. I loved this idea, especially after I had seen the pictures of each location beforehand.

As soon as we arrived, the sunrise and lighting was beyond perfect. Letting off that warm orange hue, it was exactly what I was hoping for. We started off wandering around the marsh until the sun began to rise. Let's be honest, Jesse wasn't super thrilled to be there that early in the morning. I get it! But he was a trooper and it was actually super cute watching the whining. Kind of reminded me of my own boyfriend...

THEN we set off to the woods area where the trees were perfectly out of a scary movie.

Or romantic. Whatever floats your boat.

Talbot Woods has a bunch of walking areas to explore. We walked through the trees, then a short ways along a small bridge. We had a blast. It was amazing to explore more of Cape Cod and the smaller towns you don't think to go to. It was so fun and I am so happy I got to capture these two for their anniversary. It's such a special thing to help couples keep the romance going.
